What would you be doing?
- Air discharge sampling - sampling emissions discharged from industrial sites
- Workplace air quality assessments
- Mask fit testing
- Methamphetamine comprehensive sampling
- Use of sound level meters to carry out noise testing and noise assessments
- Project management - communicating with suppliers, sub-contractors and clients
- Calculating results and writing reports
- Asbestos sampling, air testing, auditing and reporting
- Laboratory analysis of asbestos bulk ID and air samples
- Asbestos awareness courses
- Maintaining and improving quality and safety systems
- Improving our procedures and technical documents
Qualifications and Experience
A tertiary qualification, while not a requirement, is a bonus. Full training in all aspects of the job is provided. We aim to match the work a person does with their strengths and goals.
The Role
You can expect to spend approximately:
- 40-60% of time out in the field (sometimes out of town)
- 30-50% office-based, doing reporting
- 10-30% in the lab/workshop carrying out analysis and servicing equipment
